- Commercial-dispensing safety
- 115 / 230 V
- Built for EU, US & Japan markets
If you build vending or coffee machines, you've probably hit at least one of these, and found a standard power supply doesn't quite solve it:
- Your grinder motor stalls under load, or keeps spinning when the hopper's empty.
- The same machine has to pour the same cup on 230 V in Europe and 115 V in the US or Japan.
- Motors and valves pull a heavy inrush every cycle, and an off-the-shelf supply sags or trips.
- Each brew or grind needs a short burst of power far above the continuous rating.
- It runs 24/7, so standby draw and energy rules genuinely matter.
How we solve it
Off-the-shelf supplies are built for the average case. We design the supply around your machine and the way it actually behaves:
- Overload, stall and empty-hopper protection: control circuitry that shuts the grinder motor down on overload or a blocked motor, detects when the beans run out, and flags the fault.
- Voltage-adaptive dosing: regulation that adapts to the incoming mains, so the cup poured on 115 V matches the one on 230 V, market to market.
- Headroom for the peaks: short-duration peak power well above the continuous rating, for the brief heavy loads of a brew or grind cycle.
- Low standby for always-on machines: low standby consumption, to Energy Star where it's required.
- The standards your sector expects: commercial-dispensing safety (IEC/EN 60335-2-75), limited-power-source designs (UL1310 Class 2) and the relevant EMC.
Designs we've built for vending and coffee
A few of the designs we've already built for this sector, each engineered to one client's machine. Yours would be developed to its peak demand and standby behaviour.
Designed to current vending and appliance standards
Each new design is built to the standards your machines must meet now, and we track them as they change. As your development partner we also flag where your specification could be stronger. The supplies shown here were built for specific machines; yours would be developed to where the sector stands today, and where it is heading.
