Power Supply Application:
This custom made power supply is designed to supply a highly sophisticated digital scanner. The application requires an universal input voltage range for worldwide use and demands a high accuracy of the different output voltages and high peak load currents on the 24 volt output.
Model description:
The power supply converter is based on the single-ended feed- forward principle. This cost effective topology provides a high level of reliability, a good efficiency and a compact size. The unit is power factor corrected, which results in a sine wave input current with minimal distortion and an universal wide input voltage range.
The 24 volt output is provided with a low loss magnetic post regulation. This supplies a very stable voltage, which results in the capability of handling the large peak currents, caused by the motors and electronic lamp ballasts connected to this output.
The four outputs are showing an excellent load-, cross regulation performance and are fully protected against overload- and short circuit conditions. Additionally, the PSU has a built-in overheating protection.
