Power Supply Application:

This custom made uninterruptible power supply is designed to supply the internal DC BUS voltage for a portable satellite receiver / transmitter system.

The application demands an uninterruptible output power for handling AC mains interruptions. Besides operating 24/7, the application is characterised by the need of a high level of reliability at elevated temperature stress

Model Description:

The Power Supply converter circuitry is based on a single-ended feed-forward principle. This cost effective topology provides a high level of reliability, a very high efficiency and a compact size.

No Break Function:
In combination with a connected Ni-Cd battery pack the PSU provides a full no break function to ensure uninterruptible output power in the event of AC mains power interruptions.

Battery Charger:
An integrated intelligent battery charger provides optimal fast- and trickle charge current functionality related to parameters like battery temperature, battery voltage and total charging time. This guarantees the maximum lifetime of the battery.

Other Features:
Other special features of this model are remote on/off control (also without a connected battery) and an integrated driver output, which provides a temperature controlled output power to an external heater when the internal system housing temperature drops below 0°C.

Mechanical construction:
