Power Supply Application:

This custom made switched mode power supply is designed to supply the electronics and electromechanical parts of a professional coffee vending machine. The application is characterized by 24/7 operation and high power demands for a short period of time, which are caused by DC motors.

Model Description:

The power supply is based on the single-ended feed-forward topology. This cost effective and compact size topology provides a high level of reliability and a high efficiency. A current limitation circuitry with a high level fast acting and a low level time delay acting stage provides adequate protection against overload- and short circuit conditions.

Microcontroller:
Two different levels of time restricted output power are managed with the use of a microcontroller. With only a minor change in the program this type of unit is also suitable for the American market. At customer’s request the PSU has an AC voltage monitor output signal.

Mechanical construction:
