This custom made switched mode power supply is designed to supply the electronics and electromechanical parts of a coffee vending machine for the professional market. This machine is characterized by 24/7 operation and high power demands for a short period of time caused by DC motors.

Model Description:

The power supply converter circuitry is based on the single-ended feed-forward topology. This cost effective and compact size topology provides a high level of reliability and efficiency. The converter is designed in such a way that it is capable of delivering three times the nominal output power for a period of at least 15 seconds.

Microcontroller:
A micro controlled current limitation circuitry with a high level fast acting stage and a low level time delay acting stage provides adequate protection against permanent overload- and short circuit conditions.

Mechanical construction:
