Model description:

The power supply circuitry is based on a linear regulator, which provides a very high reliability level and an ultra low noise level. Due to a special design of the circuitry, the regulator is self adjustable.

The output voltage follows the input voltage, but it minimizes the ripple over the full input range. If the output voltage becomes too high, the regulator acts like a normal regulator and limits the output voltage to the maximal output value. In this manner, the efficiency and heat dissipation of the regulator is greatly improved.
