European research & development“The development of a suitable power supply” Power Supply Development: Our Experience and ExpertiseOver the past two decades Total Power Europe has established an enviable reputation as a switched mode power supply developer. Due to several projects with our customers in a wide range of industries, we continue to expand our experience and expertise.Suitable power supplyIn order to make an appropriate offer, we will examine and discuss all technical aspects and requirements of your product. When applying our experience and expertise, we are able to develop a highly suitable power supply for your product at a competitive price. Our sales- and technical representatives are more than willing to make a visit to your company for discussing the possibilities. The start of a product developmentThe success of our developed power supplies is highly dependent on concise and complete specifications. Therefore every new project will follow and adhere itself to a set protocol. The first step of any new development is to jointly agree upon the electrical and mechanical specifications. Besides these parameters, we also consider which international standards need to be met.International standards & directives Several of our power supplies conform to international standards and directives. These include: UL 60601-1 / IEC 60601-1: Safety of medical electrical equipment. UL 60950: Limited Power Source (LPS): Requirements intended to reduce risks of fire, electric shock or injury to the user. UL 1604: Class I and II: The power supply is designed in such a way that it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth/ground. UL 1310: Class 2: A power supply with a limited voltage and energy capacity. Energy Star: Due to an energy efficient green mode function, the power flow into the power supply is regulated to reduce the waste of standby power dramatically. EcoDesign of Energy Using Products (EuP) Directive: EU-wide rules for improving the environmental performance of energy related products through ecodesign. The EcoDesign requirements will reduce the environmental impact of products across the life cycle, with a particular focus on energy. Since the start of 1995, our factory is UL inspected on a regular base. From concept to proto modelTotal Power Europe’s skilled team of engineers has the availability of the latest state of the art software, electronic test and measurement equipment. We are able to realize prototype models and small pilot runs at our Dutch office. Therefore, we can easily adjust these models in this development stage and we can ensure on time deliveries. |
